A depression in the Bay of Bengal will intensify into a cyclonic storm by Monday. It will make landfall on May 26 as a very severe cyclonic storm, the Indian Meteorological Department said on Sunday.
A depression that formed over east-central Bay of Bengal at 11:30 am on Sunday is expected to intensify into cyclonic storm ‘Yaas’ by Monday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) stated. The depression is 670 kilometres away from Digha in West Bengal.
