Democrats' mainstream path versus MAGA Republicans' extremism
Fox News
This November, Americans have a choice between mainstream and MAGA. The difference between Democrats and Republicans couldn't be more clear.
Democrat Sean Patrick Maloney represents New York's 18th congressional district and is chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
Despite narrow majorities and Republican obstruction, House Democrats passed nearly 900 bills, 183 have become law. Faced with a grueling pandemic, Democrats passed the American Rescue Plan, which got children safely back in schools, funded local policing, vaccinated the country, and sparked the full employment recovery we see today. To finally address crumbling infrastructure, Democrats passed the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to build roads and bridges, upgrade ports, and purify water by eliminating lead pipes – all while creating good-paying, union jobs.
Democrats passed the PACT Act to ensure veterans get the health care they’re owed, the CHIPS and Science Act to bring American manufacturing jobs back home from China, the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act to save children from senseless acts of gun violence, and the Inflation Reduction Act to ease inflation, lower prices of prescription drugs, health care, energy and gas, and lower carbon emissions 40 percent by 2030. Republicans overwhelmingly voted against all of these measures.
