Democrat Senator Joe Manchin to issue bipartisan resolution to reinstate dress code
Fox News
Sen. Manchin plans a bipartisan resolution to reinstate Senate's dress code, following Schumer's recent relaxation of the rules to accomodate Democrat Senator John Fetterman.
"Next week, Senator Manchin intends to file a bipartisan resolution to ensure the Senate dress code remains consistent with previous expectations," a spokesperson for Manchin’s office told Fox News Digital in a statement Friday. The dress code was called into question as Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., continued his saga of casual attire, dressed down in basketball shorts, a hoodie, or a collared shirt for business in the upper chamber.
