Demi Moore wins first Golden Globe after nearly quitting acting career
Fox News
Demi Moore recalled a time when a producer made her feel like she couldn't be "acknowledged" for her work, and recently debated quitting the entertainment industry.
"I've been doing this a long time, like over 45 years, and this is the first time I've ever won anything as an actor," Moore told the audience at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Tracy Wright is an entertainment reporter for Fox News Digital. Send story tips to Tracy.Wright@fox.com.
In "The Substance," Moore starred as an actress who is unceremoniously fired from her fitness show at age 50, deemed too old to be desirable.
