Delhi Weather: Mercury settles at 38.4 degrees Celsius, dust storm predicted for today

The maximum temperature settled at 38.4 degrees Celsius in Delhi on Tuesday. The weather department has predicted a dust storm for Wednesday.
After reeling under scorching heat till last week, there has been a significant dip in the temperature since May 1.
The maximum temperature settled at 38.4 degrees Celsius in the national capital after touching the 44-45 degrees mark this season.
As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the relative humidity was recorded at 43 per cent in the evening.
The weather department revealed that the mercury settled at 38.4 degrees Celsius, with a partly cloudy sky and the possibility of development of thunder and lightning predicted on May 4.
The minimum temperature was 28.5 degrees Celsius, while on Monday, it was 27.4 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
The mercury had come down to 40.5 degrees Celsius Celsius on Sunday as easterly winds barrelled through the capital under the influence of a western disturbance.
The IMD has predicted a fall in temperatures on Wednesday with temperatures hovering around 40 degrees Celsius.
