In a shocking incident, a girl was allegedly raped near the Janakpuri area by two men on the pretext of giving her a job. One of the miscreants called the girl to meet him near the Janakpuri flyover in Delhi.
She was looking for a job due to financial issues at her home. For this, she had contacted the man suggested by a relative and went to meet him. As soon as she reached there, on April 3, the man asked her to sit in the car where he was sitting with a friend.
The accused gave her a drink spiked with sedatives and drugs and when she became unconscious, they raped her in the car.
Both the accused threw the girl on the road and fled the spot. After that, the girl called helpline number 181 and reached the Ambedkar Nagar police station.
Initially, the police did not register her complaint. On April 4, the victim contacted the women's helpline, which helped her to file an FIR at the Janakpuri police station.
In her complaint, she revealed that both the accused raped her on the pretext of giving her a decent job. The police are now investigating the case.
