
Delhi suspends COVID-19 vaccination for 18-44 age group from today

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that from Sunday all vaccination centres for youths in Delhi will be shut as the vaccines for them have been used.
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday (May 22) said that the COVID-19 vaccination drive for 18-44 years age group is being closed in the national capital due to lack of doses. From Sunday, all vaccination centres for youths in Delhi will be shut as the vaccines for them have been consumed, he said in a press conference. “Vaccination for the 18+ category halted in Delhi from today. Vaccine stock for this category has been consumed. Due to this, their vaccination centres have been shut. Only a few vaccines are available at some centres which will be administered today,” Kejriwal was quoted as saying by ANI.More Related News
