India Today
With the arrival of the western disturbance, the temperature slightly dipped in the national capital on Tuesday. While the maximum temperature stood at 39.5 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature was at 22.5 degrees Celsius.
After reeling under scorching heat for days, Delhiites finally took a sigh of relief as the mercury slightly dipped on Tuesday.
The temperature marginally dropped in the national capital, giving some respite to the residents from the heatwave.
But this relief is likely to be short-lived as the heatwave is soon expected to be at its peak.
A fresh arrival in the western disturbance is one of the reasons behind the fall in temperature.
Yesterday, while the maximum hovered around 39.5 degrees Celsius in Delhi, the minimum stood at 22.5 degrees Celsius.
As per the weather report, the maximum temperature in the Lodi Nagar area was 39.6 degrees Celsius, whereas the temperature in Mayur Vihar, East Delhi was 38.1 degrees Celsius.
Areas such as Ayanagar, Najafgarh, Pitampura and more recorded a maximum temperature above 40 degrees Celsius.
