Delhi schools to reopen from Feb 7 for Classes 9 and above, from Feb 14 for up to Class 8

Delhi schools are reopening for physical classes from February 7 for Classes 9 to 12 and from February 14 for students up to Class 8.
Delhi schools from Class 9 onwards, colleges, educational institutes, coaching institutes, skill development and training institutes, other training institutes, and libraries for students of Classes 9 and above are allowed to reopen from February 7 onwards, subject to strict compliance of Covid-19 SOP.
For students up to Class 8, schools and institutes will reopen from February 14 onwards in Delhi.
Colleges, higher education institutes, coaching institutes, and skill development and training institutes can resume physical classes completely for students above Class 12.
All heads of schools, colleges and educational institutes now need to call students while taking into account the available space, infrastructure, and facilities of their schools and institutes.
They need to ensure that Covid-appropriate behavior such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, regular hand-washing and using sanitizers was compiled with at all times in schools and institutes.
The schools, institutes shall make all-out efforts for encouraging students above 15 years of age to vaccinate themselves, in accordance with the protocols and guidelines.
Parental consent will be needed for blended and hybrid mode of learning for students up to Class 12 only in schools, educational institutes and coaching institutes till further orders.
