
Delhi school reopening: Parents treading cautiously, junior students keep away from private schools

The DDMA allowed the reopening of government and private schools in the national capital for all levels from November 1. While the Delhi government schools witnessed an enthusiastic response, the private schools' experiences were in stark contrast.
On Monday, Delhi’s Education Minister Manish Sisodia himself welcomed the students who were returning to the government schools in the national capital after a gap of nearly a year and a half. The visuals from the Delhi government schools appeared enthusiastic and encouraging.
As the schools opened their gates for students of all classes on November 1, their administrations were all geared up to ensure the Covid-19 appropriate behaviour is maintained.
