Delhi's new liquor home delivery rules come into effect but you will have to wait
India Today
Even though the Delhi Excise (Amendment) Rules, 2021, have come into effect in the national capital from Friday, the home delivery of alcohol will take some time before it becomes a reality.
The Delhi government on Thursday notified the new rules for home delivery of liquor for orders placed through mobile applications and websites. Earlier, it was allowed only for orders placed through fax and email. In a gazette notification issued on Thursday, the finance department said the amended rules, including Rule 66, dealing with the home delivery of liquor and distribution of it in pubs and restaurants, would come into effect from June 10.More Related News
