Long queues were seen at Anand Vihar terminal in New Delhi as migrant labourers left for home amid lockdown in the city, fearing job loss.
In what can be seen as a flashback of 2020, migrant labourers were recently seen leaving Delhi in large numbers, fearing job loss and extended lockdown. Amid the exodus, Anand Vihar terminal in New Delhi saw serpentine queues of labourers heading home along with their kids and belongings. Sudeep Mishra, a 40-year-old cab driver, was one of the thousands trying to leave Delhi. He was trying to make his way home to his village in the neighbouring state of Uttar Pradesh.More Related News
