Delhi's 4 New Omicron Patients Asymptomatic: Hospital

Of the four new Omicron patients in Delhi, two came from the UK and the other twowere their close contacts, said the MD of Delhi's LNJP hospital.
Dr Suresh Kumar, the MD of Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital, said that the four new patients of the Omicron variant of COVID-19 reported in Delhi are asymptomatic, adding that two of them had come from UK and other two were close contacts.
"The four new Omicron patients are asymptomatic; two came from the UK and the other two were their close contacts," Dr Kumar told news agency ANI.
Dr Kumar also said that the Omicron patient discharged today, who had come from Zimbabwe on December 2, had mild symptoms like slight throat discomfort and weakness.
"But he returned completely healthy after 10 days. Omicron patients have mild symptoms, stable oxygen rates and no need for ICU," he added.
