Delhi reports 306 deaths, highest-ever in 24 hours; over 26,000 new Covid cases

Delhi on Thursday reported over 26,000 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 306 pandemic-induced deaths. The infection rate in Delhi is now over 36 per cent while the case fatality rate stands at 1.38 per cent and recovery rate at 89.04 per cent.
Delhi reported 26,169 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Thursday. The national capital's tally of active cases now stands at 91,618 while the infection rate is 36.24 per cent as per the latest figures. , , , ,#IndiaUnitedAgainstCovid pic.twitter.com/iVlI8xKxEk The national capital tested 72,208 samples for coronavirus, using 48,346 Rapid Antigen and 23,862 RT-PCR tests, between Wednesday and Thursday. A total of 1,65,56,208 samples have been tested for Covid-19 in Delhi to date. According to the Delhi government's health department, the national capital also recorded 306 coronavirus-related deaths in the last 24 hours. This is the highest number of pandemic-induced deaths reported in Delhi in a single day since the beginning of the pandemic last year.More Related News
