Delhi Police says AAP leaders behind posters critical of Modi and vaccination drive

The Delhi Police on Sunday said that Aam Aadmi Party leaders were responsible for the posters critical of Prime Minister Modi and India’s vaccination drive that were put up in the city.
The Delhi Police on Sunday claimed that Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Gautam was responsible for the posters criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India’s Covid-19 vaccination drive that had been put up in the Mangolpuri area of the national capital. Police while patrolling to enforce Lockdown announced by DDMA, created by GNCTD, noticed walls in several areas being defaced by pasting posters. Accused persons on questioning told an AAP member & President of Ward 47, Arvind Gautam was behind it in Mangolpuri. He is absconding. pic.twitter.com/ACmTHQryZc On Saturday, the police arrested 25 people across 13 districts for allegedly pasting these posters on walls across Delhi amid the Covid-induced lockdown. The police’s first information reports were registered under section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the Indian Penal Code and section 3 of the Prevention of Defacement of Property Act.
