Delhi police reunites missing girl, woman with their families in separate incidents

A 15-year-old girl and a 26-year-old woman who had gone missing were reunited with their families in two separate incidents due to the efforts of Delhi police. The incident happened on March 17, following which police took swift action and launched an investigation to trace them.
The officers of Delhi police received praise from all quarters for reuniting a 15-year-old girl with her family and a 26-year-old woman with her children in separate incidents. On March 17, Sarita Vihar police received a phone call that a minor girl had gone missing, following which a case was registered and a manhunt was launched to rescue the child.
The police team collected various information from their sources to trace the missing and kidnapped children under operation 'Milap'. The police also shared the available information about the missing children on ZIPNET and a door-to-door verification was also carried out in the vicinity of the area to trace the missing child. Her close friends were also taken into confidence to reveal any other additional information. The police team searched her at prominent places in Delhi.

After diligent efforts, the police traced the child from Madanpur Khadar in Delhi and she revealed that she lost her way while playing near her home. The missing girl was safely handed over to the concerned investigation officer for further necessary action.
In another similar incident, Delhi Police of Southeast District also traced a missing lady aged 26 years and reunited her with her three children aged eleven, seven and four years. On March 17, the very same day, Jamia Nagar police received information about a lady who had gone missing. Accordingly, a case was registered at PS Jamia Nagar police station and search of the missing lady and children was taken up.
