Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana hoists tricolour on Independence Day

Rakesh Asthana, who took charge as Delhi's commissioner of police last month, hoisted the tricolour at the police headquarters to mark the 75th Independence Day.

Delhi's Commissioner of Police (CP) Rakesh Asthana hoisted the tricolour at the police headquarters on Jai Singh Road on Sunday to mark the 75th Independence Day. Unfurling the national flag, Rakesh Asthana, who took charge as Delhi's commissioner of police last month, greeted the police personnel and their family members present at the event. He complimented the police personnel for performing strenuous arrangement duties with discipline and patience for the Independence Day function at Red Fort and city-wide bandobast in Delhi.
