The Delhi Police has arrested an interstate arms supplier, who was wanted in connection with two cases. One pistol and four live cartridges were recovered from his possession.
The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested an interstate arms supplier, who was wanted in connection with shootout and arms trafficking cases.
The absconding accused, identified as Nazim Ali (30), is a resident of Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district. He was nabbed on February 3 near Murga Mandi, Gazipur, Delhi.
One single shot pistol of .315 with four live cartridges was recovered from his possession.
Nazim was reportedly absconding for three months in connection with two criminal cases lodged at PS Amar Colony in Delhi. Nazim had also been previously arrested in other cases in Uttar Pradesh.

"There was information in the Special Cell about the movements of Nazim Ali absconding for three months in a case of a shootout in the area of Amar Colony, Delhi," Deputy Commissioner of Police Jasmeet Singh said.
Acting on specific information that accused Nazim would come near Murga Mandi, Gazipur, Delhi, the police team laid a trap and nabbed him from the specified spot.
