Amid an acute shortage of oxygen in Delhi, relatives of Covid positive patients queued outside an east Delhi oxygen refilling center on Thursday. They had reportedly brought empty oxygen cylinders from Bawana and Delhi to get them refilled. Vinay Trivedi, who has been standing in the queue to procure oxygen for his wife, said: “We have been standing here since last two hours, it seems like it will take another two hours for our turn. We don't know how long this cylinder will last but this is what we can do to save our family.” The East Delhi Municipal Corporation staffers and Delhi Police personnel had to pitch in to maintain social distance and other Covid-appropriate norms as most people in the crowd huddled together without masks and sanitisers.More Related News
