Delhi NGO ropes in celebrities to help transgenders during lockdown

An NGO in New Delhi has roped in celebrities from across the country and abroad to help raise funds for transgenders during the Covid-19 pandemic.
With a lack of food and proper medical attention, the transgender community is hit hard by the Covid-19 lockdown. A Delhi-based NGO Socio Story has not only helped over 500 transgenders with food and other essentials but has also roped in celebrities from India and abroad to launch an online concert to raise funds for them. Socio Story’s founder Manoj Pachauri, said music composer and singers Nikhita Gandhi, Raghu Dixit, Grammy Awards nominee Lonnie Park and many other celebrities will join the concert on Saturday.More Related News
