Delhi: NDMC councillor joins AAP soon after BJP expels her from party

Hours after receiving the letter of her expulsion from the BJP, North Delhi Municipal Corporation's Mukherjee Nagar councillor Pooja Madan joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
A North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC) councillor, Pooja Madan, who was expelled from the BJP on corruption charges on Sunday, joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) hours later.
The Delhi State President of the BJP, Adesh Gupta, expelled three municipal councillors from the party for six years on charges of corruption. Other than Pooja Madan of Mukherjee Nagar (Ward Number- 15), the other two were New Ashok Nagar councillor Rajni Bablu Pandey and South Delhi Municipal Corporation's (SDMC) Said-ul-Ajaib councillor Sanjay Thakur.
