Delhi Police arrested a medical attendant from Hathras, UP, for stealing an ATM card and purchasing jewellery, bike from the money withdrawn using the card.

The accused was identified as Satish Chandra, who hails from Hathras, Uttar Pradesh.
On March 7, an 80-year-old resident of Green Park filed an FIR regarding the theft of his ATM card. His bank details revealed that Rs 7.23 lakh had been withdrawn from his account.
He suspected his medical attendant who left his house on March 3 stole it as his phone had been unreachable since then.
DCP South West, Manoj C, said, "During the course of the investigation, it was revealed that the complainant employed Satish around three months back. Several transactions were done in Hathras. The location of the accused was tracked using his mobile number.”
On the basis of technical surveillance, a team conducted a raid at his residence and apprehended him.
During the interrogation, it was revealed that he stole the complainant’s ATM card as he knew his bank details and PIN.
