Delhi: IT Ministry scientist jumps off 7th floor at Shastri Bhawan, dies

A 55-year-old scientist working with the IT Ministry allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the Shastri Bhawan building in New Delhi on Monday.

A 55-year-old man, working as a scientist in the Ministry of Information and Technology, died after he allegedly jumped off the 7th floor in Shastri Bhawan, Delhi, on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Rakesh Malik, a resident of Peeragarhi.

On receiving the information from the control room of Shastri Bhawan, police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

Further investigations are underway.
