The Delhi government said it is immediately withdrawing its order that reserved 100 rooms in The Ashok for Delhi High Court judges and judicial officers of the court.
Hours after being reprimanded by the Delhi High Court, the Delhi government on Tuesday evening said it is withdrawing an order that had allocated 100 rooms in The Ashok for high court judges and judicial officers or the court. As per the order, the hotel was to be converted into a Covid care facility for the judges. "Issued directions to withdraw this order immediately," Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia tweeted. Sources in the Delhi government said Sisodia had asked officials to withdraw the order in the evening after going files related to it. The sources claim that the order was issued without the knowledge of the chief minister and the deputy chief minister.More Related News
