It must be noted that the Constitution mandates reports of the CAG relating to a state's finances must be submitted to the Governor of the state and must be tabled in the Assembly.
A total of five CAG reports -- State Finances Audit Report, Revenue Economic, Social and General Sectors and PSUs, Social General & Economic Sectors (Non-PSUs), Finance Accounts of GNCTD and Appropriation Accounts of GNCTD, were pending with the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia. The reports were placed before the Assembly on July 5.
According to the report, the Delhi government has maintained a revenue surplus since 2015.
