Delhi Govt releases song to promote communal harmony, patriotism among students

Delhi govt has launched a song to teach students about the purpose of education, promoting communal harmony, patriotism, and women empowerment among other life skills.
Delhi government released an educational song on the microblogging site, Twitter, on Tuesday. The song is a reflection of the vision of the AAP government. Moreover, Mission Buniyaad, an initiative that was launched to improve the learning skills of children studying in state and municipal-run schools, was also reviewed.
The aim of the song is to teach communal harmony, patriotism, and women empowerment among other life skills.
The song's lyrics have been written by Alok Srivastava and the song has been sung by famous singers, Shan and Sneha Shankar.
Delhi’s Education Minister and Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia, said that the song aims to answer critical questions about the purpose of education in nation-building.
“A person gives an important 20 years of his life to education. But what do we want by giving 20 years of long education? What is our intention? What do the child, parents, society, and the nation want from education? Answering these questions, Delhi Education Geet is being released today,” he tweeted.
Its lyrics are as follows: ‘I have made an intention, we will teach them this way’.
