Delhi government to set up Science Innovation Hub to promote science culture among students

The Delhi government is all set to develop a "Science Innovation Hub" to promote scientific culture among students. The club consists of an auditorium, a library, a planetarium, a museum with science and technological objects etc.
The Delhi government is all set to develop a "Science Innovation Hub" at a school run by it in Kautilya Enclave which includes all the modern and latest facilities, like a planetarium, a museum to give enhanced knowledge of scientific culture, and temperament to students.
With the help of this, students will be able to satisfy their growing educational needs. As there is always a public demand to provide adequate educational infrastructure so that quality education is available to all students near their homes.
The Science hub will be ready at a cost of over Rs 5 crore in the next two-and-a-half years. And it will have an auditorium, a library, a planetarium, a museum with science and technology objects, art and model experiential galleries of the latest innovations and trends, instruments, collectibles, equipment, simulation systems, and contents.
s per the officials, the Directorate of Education (DoE) of the Delhi government has assigned the task of construction and development of the Science Innovation Hub to the DTTDC on a 30,000-square meter land in Kautilya Sarvodaya Co-education School at Chirag Enclave.
It will serve as a world-class science experimental infrastructure for exhibitions and museums and act as a premier center propagating science and harnessing the potential of modern communication technologies for the welfare of society.
