Delhi: Foreigner arrested for hacking WhatsApp, demanding money from contacts

A foreigner has been arrested after Delhi Police's cyber crime unit busted a WhatsApp hacking racket.

The Cyber Crime Unit of Special Cell, strategic fusion and strategic ops (IFSO), has busted a WhatsApp hacking racket and arrested a foreigner.

The syndicate was operating from Delhi and Bengaluru. The arrested accused has been identified as Chimelum Emmanuel Aniwetalu, also known as Maurice Degri.
