Delhi civic body conducts special drive against spread of vector-borne diseases in JJ colonies

The South Delhi Municipal Corporation conducted a special drive in JJ colonies to check the spread of vector-borne diseases.
In order to control the spread of vector-borne diseases during the ongoing monsoon season, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) conducted a special drive in JJ colonies. The civic body checked nearly 42,000 houses in JJ colonies to detect mosquito breeding. Of these, mosquito larvae were found in nearly 800 houses. The public health department of the SDMC, after the detection of mosquito larvae in these houses, issued notices and challans to the residents.More Related News
