Delhi Cantt case: Senior Trinamool Congress leaders visit rape victim's family

Senior Trinamool Congress leaders visited the family members of Nangal rape victim on Wednesday. A nine-year-old girl from Delhi was allegedly raped, murdered and forcibly cremated by the accused on Monday.

A delegation of Trinamool Congress leaders comprising Dr. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, Shanta Chhetri and Mausam Noor visited the family of the rape victim in Nangal village in Delhi. A nine-year-old girl from Delhi was allegedly raped, murdered and forcibly cremated by the accused, who told her parents that the girl died of electrocution and asked them not to inform the cops, saying that getting the police involved in the matter would only complicate it.
