Delhi: Auto driver held for thrashing girl after failed rape attempt

An auto driver was arrested in Delhi's Sarita Vihar area for attempting to rape a woman and then thrashing her after she objected.

An auto-rickshaw driver has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a girl under the guise of taking her for a ride and then attempting to rape her. When the girl objected, she was severely beaten, and the accused took her mobile before fleeing.

The incident occurred late on November 23. However, the police filed an FIR in this case on November 24 at the Sarita Vihar police station.
