Delhi: Army aspirants protest over postponement of recruitment exam, demand age exemption

Many Army aspirants staged a protest over the postponement of recruitment exams in Delhi on Tuesday. The protestors claimed that the written exam was postponed repeatedly and sought an exemption of two years of age.
Several aspirants seeking jobs in the Indian Armed Forces from across the country staged a protest due to the postponement of the recruitment examination in Delhi on Tuesday. The protestors gathered to submit a memorandum to put forward their demand to hold recruitment exams and exemption of two years of age, news agency ANI reported.
The protestors claimed that no recruitment has taken place for the last two years and the written exam was postponed repeatedly.
A protestor was quoted by ANI as saying, "No recruitment has taken place for the last 2 years. To raise the issue, I started running from Rajasthan's Sikar on March 29, reached Delhi on April 2 and covered 60 to 70 km every day." (sic)

The protestors demanded that the government must conduct recruitment rallies and also allow the exemption of two years of age.
