Delhi airport joins the BTS fan club with wonderful tweet. But there’s more to the story

The trend started when Orlando airport tweeted a line from BTS leader RM’s song Moonchild. Delhi airport has also joined the fun with #AirportTwitter
The fandom surrounding K-pop boy band BTS is increasing and there’s no denying that. After the septet’s sold-out Las Vegas concert and power-packed Grammys performance, fans can’t seem to stop being obsessed with them. And guess what? Airports across the globe have joined in to pledge their fandom to the global stars. Delhi airport has also joined the fun and desi ARMY can’t be happier.
If you’ve been on Twitter lately, you must have come across tweets from official profiles of airports with lyrics from BTS songs. It all started when Orlando airport tweeted a line from BTS leader RM’s song Moonchild.

After that, DFW airport (Dallas/Fort Worth international airport) shared a tweet to join the purple fun. “Somebody better call @BTS_twt, because that landing was smooth. like. butter!” they tweeted alongside the video of a airplane landing.

Soon enough, the trend was picked up by the other airports of the world, including Delhi airport. “Cause I-I-I'm in the stars tonight,” they wrote while quoting one of the lines from the hit track Dynamite.
