
Delhi: 4 children drown in Yamuna river, one body recovered

In a tragic incident, around four children drowned in the Yamuna river in the national capital on Wednesday. So far, one body of a child has been recovered.
At least four children drowned in the Yamuna river near South Delhi’s Jaitpur area on Wednesday. The rescue operation was immediately launched and so far, one body has been recovered.
According to officials, they received the information about the incident at around 5.30 pm at Jaitpur in South Delhi, following which a rescue team was immediately pressed into service. However, the rescue operation has been halted due to darkness.
So far, officials have retrieved one body from the Yamuna river with the help of rescue personnel.
