Three Tihar jail staff have been transferred after it was found that conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar had allegedly tried to bribe one of them. Sukesh has also been shifted to another jail in Tihar, officials said on Sunday.
An initial probe revealed that he also allegedly got Rs 1.25 lakh deposited into the bank account of an inmate's brother.

"We have initiated an inquiry and have transferred three staffers from the jail. Lodgment of inmate Sukesh has also been changed to another jail," Goel added.
In November last year, the Delhi Police had told a court in a charge sheet that Sukesh was using certain high end mobile phone applications to spoof the landline numbers of different higher government authorities for extorting large amounts of money from several individuals from inside Rohini jail.
Police made the allegations in its charge sheet filed against Chandrasekhar and his wife and actor Leena Maria Paul in a case related to allegedly duping the wife of the former promoter of Ranbaxy, Shivinder Singh, of Rs 200 crore.
