Delhi: 12 African nationals without valid visas to be deported

The African nationals were staying illegally in the Dwarka district jurisdiction and were unable to produce valid visas before the officials.
Amid an ongoing mission against foreign nationals residing in Delhi illegally, 12 African nationals, who were found living without valid visas and passports, will be deported.

Recently, the Dwarka district police launched 'Operation Varchasva' in their mission to make the area crime-free. On January 31, a team was constituted, under the supervision of sub-inspector Subhash Chand, to verify the documents of the foreigners.
After verification of their credentials, it was found they were overstaying in India without a valid visa.
Furthermore, they were involved in the illicit drug trade and indulged in cybercrime.
The culprits have been identified as Ugochukwu Chukwudum, Uchenna Ignus Uba, Chigozie Cletus Njoku, Obianuju Nympha Okanumee, Mathurin N’Gussan, BI Alexwndra, Jones Darko, Osita Anslem Onuprah, Peter Emeka, Emeka Obi and Sita Eugene.
They were produced before the Foreigners Regional Registration Officers (FRRO) along with their original passports, after which the FRRO ordered their deportation on Monday.
