Deepika was honoured for her contribution to the cinema and for spreading awareness about mental health. Now, she has shared a video from the Dubai awards show that took place on March 28. In her acceptance speech, she said, "I was all of 16 when I decided to switch my careers from being a competitive badminton player to becoming an actor. Little did I imagine that 20 years hence, I'd be standing here receiving a TIME 100 Impact Award." She added, "When you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a path that has been there all the while. So follow your bliss. Don't be afraid and doors will open when you never knew they would." Apart from her acceptance speech, we also get glimpses of her greenroom makeover session for the award show. We also see Deepika sharing frames with other celebrities at the event. In her caption, Deepika wrote, "A glimpse of what went down at the TIME100 Impact Award last Monday."
