Deepika Padukone recently got a special mention in Abhishek Bachchan's Dasvi trailer. When Deepika noticed the same, here's how the actress reacted.
The trailer of Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur's film, Dasvi, dropped yesterday, March 23. Needless to add, it got a great response from the audience as they loved the storyline of their film. One thing that everybody noticed was a reference to Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone in the trailer. Hours after the trailer released online, Deepika Padukone took to her Instagram stories and reacted to the same.
For the unaware, the trailer of Dasvi featured Abhishek Bachchan's character Ganga Ram Chaudhary, being asked to convert a sentence into a passive voice. The sentence given to him is - 'Ranveer loves Deepika'. To which, Abhishek Bachchan's character replies, "Everybody loves Deepika". After Deepika learnt about her special mention, the actress took to her Instagram stories and thanked the team of Dasvi.
"Thank you team Dasvi for the love. Wishing you guys the best," the actress wrote while sharing the trailer of Dasvi on her Instagram handle.

As far as Abhishek and Deepika are concerned, they worked together in Farah Khan's Happy New Year and Ashutosh Gowarikar's film, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.
Meanwhile, on the movie front, the actress was last seen in Gehraiyaan with Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dhariya Karwa and Ananya Panday. The film opened to a mixed response from critics and the audiences alike. Next, Deepika has has a couple of exciting films lined up. The actress will be reuniting with her Chennai Express co-star Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan. The film will also feature John Abraham.
Besides Pathaan, the actress will be sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan for the first time in Siddharth Anand in Fighter. Deepika will also be seen with veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan in The Intern remake. And lastly, she has an untitled movie with Madhu Mantena lined up in the pipeline.
