Deepika Padukone has donated a sum of Rs 10 lakh for the kidney transplant of acid-attack survivor Bala Prajapati. Bala was also seen with Deepika in Chhapaak in 2020.
Deepika Padukone has donated Rs 10 lakh for the kidney transplant of an acid-attack survivor and her Chhapaak co-actor, Bala Prajapati (25), in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Bala is currently fighting for life and death at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. Bala's kidney transplant is to cost about Rs 16 lakh in total. Chhanv Foundation, which works for acid-attack survivors, has started an online crowdfunding drive to help Bala. Bala Prajapati works at Sheroes Hangout Café and is originally from Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. She is a happy soul with many dreams in her eyes. But, her condition is critical currently. Her kidney has been infected and the infection is spreading through her body, with fluid filling her lungs. Bala has undergone two dialysis cycles, but her condition remains critical.More Related News
