Decision on WV Raman’s extension as India Women’s head coach part of BCCI Apex Council meeting agenda

BCCI Apex Council meeting (ACM) will have the decision on WV Raman’s extension as India Women’s head coach as a part of the agenda on April 16.

The BCCI Apex Council meeting (BCCI ACM), on April 16, will have a 14-point agenda and take major decisions with the call on the extension of WV Raman’s term as India Women’s head coach. As the board has invited fresh applications for the position, Raman, who was appointed as the head coach in 2018. The meeting will include the appointment of the Indian women's team's support staff and also make a call on the international schedule for the team, which took a hit amid the pandemic. The India Women’s team will feature in a Test match for the first time in more than six years, as announced by BCCI secretary Jay Shah earlier this year, and is expected to travel to England and Australia later in 2021.
