A dead cow was allegedly suspended upside down in the back of a tractor-trolley, as was it was being taken away for disposal in Madhya Pradesh's Dewas district, prompting the local authorities to take action against two staffers, an official said on Wednesday.

The alleged incident took place in Sandalpur area of Nemawar town, about 120 km from Dewas district headquarters, on September 7, while a video of the same surfaced on social media on Wednesday.
