DDCA sends letter to Delhi government offering Arun Jaitley Stadium as Covid-19 vaccination centre

DDCA president Rohan Jaitley wrote to the Delhi government and suggested them to turn the cricket stadium into a vaccination site where at least 10,000 people can be get the jabs every day.

The Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) has offered the premises of the Arun Jaitley Stadium to be used as a Covid-19 vaccination centre, the state cricket board president Rohan Jaitley confirmed. The stadium was in use up until May 2, the final day of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 before it was indefinitely suspended by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
