The Delhi Commission for Women has rescued a 16-year-old girl from Delhi’s Karol Bagh. The minor was brought to Delhi on the pretext of a job offer.
The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has rescued a minor girl from Channa Market in Delhi’s Karol Bagh. The 16-year-old hails from Gumla district’s Palkot area in Jharkhand. The commission took cognizance of a tweet and then rescued her after an immense effort from a house in Karol Bagh. The tweet was posted from an account in Jharkhand. Both Jharkhand and Delhi Police were tagged in the tweet. The minor was brought to Delhi on the pretext of a job offer. A fake Aadhaar card was also made so that it was easier for her to get a job. She was told that if anyone asked her what her age was, she should say 18.More Related News
