A 42-year-old television news reporter was allegedly killed in a road accident after his motorcycle rammed into a pole near a brick kiln in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh area on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Sulabh Srivastava. According to the Additional SP Surendra Dwivedi, the alleged accident took place on Sunday when the reporter was returning from the Lalganj police station area after reporting on an illegal arms manufacturing unit. After the locals informed about his accident, a fellow reporter reached the spot with an ambulance and took Srivastava to the district hospital. However, the doctors declared him brought dead.
