Day before Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh's visit, 11 party leaders in Alipurduar join TMC

Eleven BJP panchayat members in West Bengal's Alipurduar constituency joined the TMC on Saturday. This comes a day before state BJP president Dilip Ghosh's visit to Alipurduar, who is coming to take stock of the situation in party's district unit which has been in turmoil after unit chief Ganga Prasad Sharma joined the TMC.
A day before the visit of West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh to Alipurduar, eleven BJP panchayat members joined the rival Trinamool Congress camp on Saturday. This comes after former Alipurduar district BJP president Ganga Prasad Sharma switched over to the TMC on Monday. The eleven leaders were welcomed into the TMC by the party's district coordinator, Pasang Lama, at an event in Savitri Dharamsala in Kalchini. With this, the Trinamool Congress has taken possession of Jaigaon No. 1 Gram Panchayat in Kalchini Block.More Related News
