David Warner, who is away from home, took to Instagram to share devastating pictures of flood-hit Australian towns.
Thousands of people have been ordered to evacuate their homes by Tuesday and many more have been told to prepare to flee as parts of Australia's southeast coast are inundated by the worst flooding in decades. David Warner, who is away from home, shared a heartwrenching note on Instagram where he lauded his fellow Australians’ indomitable spirit. The Australian cricketer shared some devastating pictures of stranded people and flooded neighbourhoods.
David Warner, who has left Australia to play a historic series against Pakistan this week, prayed for people’s safety and wellbeing. “To everyone doing it tough in the floods you are in my family’s thoughts and prayers. Through the adversity it’s heartwarming to see the courage, bravery and Aussie spirit shown by many to help those in need (sic),” he wrote, sharing the gut-wrenching pictures.
