Indian Premier League: Former India cricketer Deep Dasgupta has identified the middle-order issue with the Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of their IPL 2021 opener on Sunday.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have started their IPL 2021 campaign by taking on Kolkata Knight Riders, on Sunday (April 11), in Chennai. Deep Dasgupta, a former India cricketer and wicketkeeper-batsman, has said that SRH need to capitalise on their middle-order after great starts given by captain David Warner and Jonny Bairstow. The cricketer-turned commentator further said that Kedar Jadhav could add the required value to SRH’s middle-order that has high experience with the likes of Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson and Mohammad Nabi. “There will definitely be [pressure on Warner and Bairstow], I mean there will definitely be if we go back and see two-three years or last four years where Bairstow and Warner did so well. Even after getting good starts, SRH did not actually capitalise the middle-order,” Deep said on Sports Today.More Related News
