Dave Sims is living the dream replacing John Sterling as WFAN’s Yankees play-by-play voice
NY Post
New Yankees WFAN play-by-play man Dave Sims takes a swing at some Q&A with Post columnist Steve Serby.
Q: What makes Juan Soto a great baseball player?
A: He’s got a ridiculous good eye in terms of his knowledge of the strike zone. He demands to get his pitch. He’s got an eye like Barry Bonds. He’ll take his walks. And the other thing I like about him, he’s not a guy that has to pull the ball, he’s got power to all fields. That makes him super dangerous.
Q: What would the Dave Sims recruiting pitch to Soto sound like?
The Knicks reached the three-quarter pole of the basketball season Sunday night, and if they wanted to celebrate the occasion, they couldn’t have asked for a better patsy. Right now, the poor Pelicans are everyone’s favorite Homecoming Game, Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram bedecked in sweaters and strapped to the injured list.
