Daunte Wright shooting: Ex-Minnesota police officer Kim Potter appears in court for first time
Fox News
Kim Potter, the former Brooklyn Center police officer charged with second-degree manslaughter in the fatal shooting of Daunte Wright, made her first court appearance Thursday.
Potter was also not allowed to "possess use or transport firearms, ammunitions or explosives" during the case, Hennepin County District Court Judge Paul R. Scoggin said during the brief appearance. Potter, a 26-year-veteran of the force and former head of the local police union, was released from a Hennepin County jail just before 5:40 p.m. local time Wednesday after posting a $100,000 bond.More Related News
