The wait if finally over! Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah left us asking for more after they dropped the first teaser from Darlings, a few weeks back. And now ending the wait of fans, Alia, Shefali and Vijay Varma brings to us the trailer of Alia's maiden production. The 2-minute-34 second trailer shows Alia, Shefali and Vijay in a never-seen before avatar in the dark comedy.
After impressing us with her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in Netflix's Darling. The film was sold at a whopping Rs 75 crore. The makers released the much-awaited trailer today, July 25.
The 2-minute-34 second trailer shows Alia and Shefali lodging a missing complaint for Vijay Varma. However, there is a twist. Alia is not as innocent as she looks and the trailer shows how she has been facing domestic violence and is determined to give the same treatment to her husband, Humza aka Vijay Varma.
Darlings is Alia Bhatt's first venture after she launched her production house. Later, she informed her fans that the film would be co-produced by her 'fav' Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. She wrote, "This one's special! Announcing #Darlings, my first ever production under @eternalsunshineproduction, in association with my fav @iamsrk’s @redchilliesent!
